5 must-see musical events in Mont-Tremblant this summer
From July to the end of August, Mont-Tremblant vibrates to the sounds of numerous festivals where jazz, blues, classical, pop and world music are in the spotlight. Must-see events not to be missed by music lovers!
With hundreds of free outdoor musical performances, internationally renowned artists, workshops, and an array of activities, the atmosphere in Mont-Tremblant this summer is electrifying!
1. Tremblant International Blues Festival
Until July 15, blues lovers will see the best bluesmen in the world and many Québec artists during the 25th edition of this festival, which will feature more than one hundred free concerts, surprise performances, jam sessions and more, in the heart of Tremblant’s pedestrian village. 2. Festival International Hautes-Laurentides
Until August 5, the FIHL offers 17 unique concerts in 10 venues on outdoor stages in the Laurentians. Visitors to Mont-Tremblant can attend shows featuring the Taurey Butler Jazz Trio (July 19), Bruno Pelletier (July 20), Quartom at Domaine Saint-Bernard (July 21) and the Utrecht String Quartet (July 22). 3. Les Rythmes Tremblant
From July 20 to 29, bring the whole family to the pedestrian village at Tremblant Resort for plenty of fun and games! Every afternoon, Promenade Deslauriers comes alive with characters and activities for kids. Come evening, Place Saint-Bernard hosts many artists and free shows that pay homage to some of the biggest names in music, featuring timeless classics and fresh new sounds. All details here.
4. Festi-Jazz Mont-Tremblant
From August 1st to 5th, Festi-Jazz offers more than 50 free concerts on two outdoor stages and in 10 local cafés, bars and hotels. 5. Fête de la musique de Tremblant with Angèle Dubeau
From August 30 to September 3, more than 30 free concerts will be presented on stages in the pedestrian village at the base of the mountain, and in the Old Village and downtown areas of Mont-Tremblant. A festive event to discover many virtuosos of jazz, classical music, world music, and more! All details here.
